Purpose: The purpose of this policy is to encourage prospective officials and support existing officials with expenses incurred for their education and training for USFS / ISU sponsored training seminars and trial judging at designated non-qualifying and qualifying competitions.
Eligibility: Applicants must be SCSF Home Club members for at least one (1) year and have received approval to participate in an official seminar and/or trial judge at a designated event. Expenses eligible for reimbursement include fees for seminars and trial judging along with travel and food expenses as defined by the USFS Travel Policy. Total expenses for an individual applicant are subject to a maximum amount defined by the Board on an annual basis.
Approval Process: The applicant will notify the Board by email of their intent to register for participation in a seminar and/or trial judging event and subsequent approval to attend their requested event. Upon completion of the their attendance, the applicant will submit the standard USFS Expense Form with attached receipts directly to the Board for approval at the next scheduled Board meeting.
