2024 Board Candidates

Dear SCSF Member,

The board would like to give you some more information about the SCSF annual election.  We have 3 candidates vying for 3 positions that are open on the board this year.  Their bios are posted on the club website under “About” and linked here.

If you renewed your SCSF membership by June 30 and you are an eligible voter 18 years of age or older, you will receive an email ballot on July 10 from the Election Buddy system which we are using for this election.  Parent members are allowed to vote in place of their minor Home Club children.  Voting begins on July 10 at 9:00 AM and will continue throughout July, ending on July 31, 2024 at 5:00 PM PDT.

Please take this opportunity to participate in the club’s election process and make your voice heard…VOTE!!!  It takes no time at all and you don’t have to go anywhere, since it’s all fully automated online.  I encourage you to read the bios of the candidates and make an informed decision to help direct the club into the future.

Get involved, be heard, learn about the club’s operations….and VOTE!  Maybe you, yourself, will be running for a position on the Board of Directors next election…who knows?  We’d love to have you on board!

Voting begins July 10 at 9:00 AM…be ready, be informed, be heard, be a participant

…and VOTE!!!

On behalf of your SCSF Board of Directors,

Warm Regards,

Alyssa Lewis

Did you know that US Figure Skating and The Skating Club of San Francisco offer a 4-year membership for college students? We want you to continue skating, hopefully into adulthood! This category is for Home Club members who are freshmen and attending college/university. It is a 4-year membership that is automatically renewed which allows skaters to continue their skating careers by taking tests, competing in US Figure Skating competitions, and coaching students in basic skating rink-sponsored programs. Skaters will also receive the bi-monthly magazine, “Skating,” from USFS.    A full course load and proof of enrollment/attendance is required.
